Of course, a joke is always a dialogue and you have to know your audience in order to drop the right joke at the right time.

It's not like I dropped this thread because somebody didn't laugh at my joke, - I doubt I have to explain that to you.

The matter at hand is that CCP sent me an official warning over something an obvious troll reported... just because it somehow fits the racism line in the EULA. And to remind you, it was in the Fleet channel .

Let me rephrase all that well-said garbage i just spit out: Do you believe that I did try to spread racism and thus I am a threat to the EVE Community?

Now, I have linked and said a ton of garbage over the years in EVE channels without anyone actually being bothered by it - especially in the Ships channel (cheers from Hitomi folks) - thus it was quite a surprise to me when I received an official warning over something I have linked which offended somebody else which, according to CCP, violates the EULA

Now I don't disagree with CCPs approach in general but - use your ******* brains mates

Now, prior to that linking we had a convo on TS which went a bit like this
"Align to new broadcast.... squad warps, squad warps"
And I'm like
"Could a man repeat that please? I'm don't really like taking orders from women"

Which somehow was taken seriously
To point out how it was meant I dropped the line above which translates to:

Several hours later I received a neat mail from CCP pointing out that I have linked something which violates the EULA
Since the only other criminal thing I have linked around that time is a song by the Kelly Family, I could only assume that CCP talked about mentioned picture above.

And that pretty much concludes my EVE Adventure for today.
I can only hope that CCP Support Staff gets it through their skull that they were being trolled by a player who exploited the Reporting function and that I'm not a white supremacist trying to recruit pilots for the Ku-Klux Klan :D

Was it racist humor? Yes
Was it racism? No

It's a big difference if we make jokes about pedo bear and 13 year olds or actually trying to get 13 year olds to a blind date.

Context duh - the racism line in the EULA wasn't invented for joking around, it was dropped there for various good reasons and the scenario I complain about isn't covered by it - get it through your skull already

What's sad is that you still don't get it. What's sad is that you think coming here and griping about the GM's decision will....what? Seriously. What? Actually help your cause? And finally what's sad is that so many have stated how they found your jokes to be offensive, and you're still sitting there basically saying, "I don't see what the problem is".
