Didn't even happen after "Burn Jita". We like to play the game even when its frustrating, so the money keeps flowing to CCP - that means nothing changes. IF I and some others fed up with this s**t can get enough people to quit at least for a few months and CCP feels the drain on their pockets, maybe something will change. Until then I can only hope for a change in the f****king game mechanics, to allow me hit back. Not an "eye for an eye2 as a one kill for one kill is useless against a suicide ganker - but an ISK for ISK: Meaning the killright should be like a bounty, letting me kill him over and over again, until i get my money worth of revenge.

Good bye then (can I have your stuff?), don't expect CCP to change the fundamental nature of the game to satisfy you and the tiny minority of players who share your ****** up opinions. Also, take that wormhole bear who is still butt-mad over his Tengu with you, EVE doesn't need his sort either.

I propose a little test. Make One system or cluster empire truly "safe" and lets see how much of the "player base" will be living there.

I have no problem with this. Sounds like a good idea. Just like to expand on it a little...flesh it out some. It would need to be a truly separate area, you can't take anything but an empty pod in or out. That way everyone would be equal and it would be fair. Also you shouldn't be able to earn or spend isk. Maybe a new currency ...Tramel ISK, tisk for short. So you go to your safe place, you earn tisk, and you build ships. Well...probably just one ship of each kind because you won't need any other. Then, 4 or 5 months later you can unsub and go to the next themepark.

You might say this is a PvP game but some people want none of that.
So why do they play? Highsec is not completely safe, it is merely safer than the rest of the Eve universe. Eve is a PvP game, and you consent to PvP the moment you hit the play button on the launcher. If they want an optional PvP spaceship game I suggest they get in on Star Citizen, if it ever comes to pass it'll have a PvP slider, private servers etc.

Leave Eve to the people that enjoy it because of the PvP, that group includes "carebears", some of us are quite happy with the current PvP dynamic.

TL;DR Stop trying to change Eve into something it is not, 100% safe for people that don't want to PvP.

As for the WH guy, HTFU, you bring shame on your peers.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

What he's asking for already exists. It's called the test server. No PvP is allowed without explicit prior concent withe the exception of one single solar system.

If you really want a truely PvE experience, I recommend you google how to get on the test server.

A 100% safe system would be horribad. There would be nothing left of the belts 5 mins after spawn, and the first 5 people to put up a POCO would be set for life.

I really wish people would stop thinking of Highsec as "safe". Its not suppose to be safe. Each security zone offers slightly differing game mechanics, that is all. None of it is safer than any other, some simply require more indepth methods of engagement than others. In Highsec, you need wardecs or gank squads. In lowsec, its FFA anywhere off station or jumpgates. In null, you have to deal with bloc alliances that restrict entry and will likely need to use things like covops and BLOPS or whatever your flavor. WH space removes local and the ability to cyno, changes benifits/penalties for each hole.. The list goes on. Its simply different mechanics for different areas. Nowhere is, or should be, "safe".

I really also must refute the claim that gankers dont make any isk of their kills. My hauler alt got ganked coming out of jita the other day... I had a few caldari navy missile controls in it that dropped and an intact navy caracal. I wasnt fast enough to save the missile controls... but thankfully was able to dockup and loot my caracal hull before the gank squad could get a hauler large enough.

Two lessons here:

1. They made a huge profit from the stuff my ganked hauler dropped. Only lost a gank fit Nado.
2. They provided me with content. Maybe your outlook is different, but the gank turned a ho-hum cargo resupply run into a race against time to save what I could. I even congrat the guys for a decent score in local.

We play the game for the things that make us remember the moments. Would I remember that cargo run if nothing happened? No. I can tell you now I wont forget it as long as I play the game.
