Anybody have any idea what is going on with promethium prices? It have nearly doubled in the last couple months. Anyone have a clue as to why?

Because it's natural expected price is 50-60k, at least, and very probably higher long term depending on how alchemy shakes out. The rise is because of that, and because I've been helping it get there faster.

If I'm correct (and i'm probably not), it did not have that much use previously. In Odyssey, CCP made an alchemy reaction system where lesser planetary materials, like this one, could be turned into more valuable ones. This should increase the price of this moon material and others like it, and lower the prices of the high level moon materials.... I think.

Because since Dominion, it & the other R64s had had less than full demand since Technetium was the bottleneck. That was fixed in Odyssey. Axton is wrong in that way - Promethium isn't a "lesser" material and wasn't supposed to be.
