Dedicated system for training on test server

We need dedicated system on test server to prepare for 12 ally championship.

What is so hard about pre-anchoring a can at a specified place in a remote location on Singularity... there is literally nothing else you could possibly need to actually run a fully simulated practice environment.

We have to actually check if someone has flown out of the arena, you know how hard that is?

And seriously having the CCP tools available to us for practice would be amazing.

I found it wasn't too hard to manage that, but eh, I guess. You could also have a bystander in a shuttle at the can checking ranges.

The dedicated systems was great CCP deсision to help allianсes trening.
It'll be good to continue, but earlier when it was at XI tournament.

Or you could just like, not practice flying out of the arena. What's the worst that could happen?

PS I'd imagine that since there are no teams in the tournament until the 20th that there won't be dedicated testing areas until at least that point.

We won't be able to set up a dedicated tournament server for the NEO2 the way we did for ATXI (all our potentially public servers are busy in this time period). This means among other things that we cannot help you avoid spies for this tournament.

The actual tournament tools also require dev roles and therefore we can't give anyone else access to them.

Once we have the auction and raffle completed and the final roster of teams I can set up arenas and beacons that appear similar to the ones used on the live matches for people if they want, but they will still need to keep track of distances from the arena center themselves.

If you want the duplicate arena setup (maximum of one system per team) send me a evemail after you get your team into the tournament and I'll hook you up when I get a chance.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean with this sentence. Your character does need to have been created before SISI was last mirrored (last October I believe) to take advantage of this SP offer if that's what you are asking.

I'll go ahead and make this commitment:
If people register characters less than 4 months old onto an active NEO team I'll go ahead and personally make sure you can test on SISI one way or another because if anyone joins the NEO four months into their EVE career they are baller as **** and should be showered in admiration.

Well, you're not quite supposed to test stuff like that out on Sisi; it's for bugtesting. Tournaments are an exception.

There's nothing wrong with testing fits on SISI and we encourage it since it gets more people in contact with the test server where they might spot bugs.

However when we can mirror is determined by the needs of our QA testing, since the first priority for SISI has to be QA.

Any news on this? i understand it's a tricky one, but there are some concepts i'd like to muck around with on my own that i just cant fly without the character i have...
