Finally there's a proper ship to carebear in. Armor resists, sentry drone goodness & bonus to armor RR.

Yes, Sentry Fleets just got more viable. I hope many C4 residents decide to put fleets of these on field.... Twisted

Meh, highly unimpressed.
Basically it's a C4 RR BS domi replacement.
6 mids and 6 lows make it more or less unfittable for any serious PVP role.
56mil mass is also basically irrelevant since it cant fit into C1s. Guess you can farm your static with more of these than you could with domis. *shrug*

Looks fine for what it is but what it is isnt what I want in a ship basically ever.

Seems legit.

By legit, I mean a waste of LP's. Wow, blow me down, a fricking faction battleship to run radars, mags and ghost sites in. Not that you can't already do that with MJD BS or, in the case of ghost sites, a month-old alt in an imicus so that when things blow up, who cares right?

So what you gain is some tank, which honestly hasn't been a big issue where people are using RR domis.

But you lose a key drone optimal and tracking bonus. Oh and all for a super inflated price tag.

I always wondered why eve had Large rigs for scanning and hacking but no battleship hulls with those bonuses P

No it wouldn't because the blops role is to bridge a fleet...

If this SoE bs had a covert cloak, it would be no more OP than a cloaky T3.

I bolded the important parts. He included "bridge", Rek. So, it would gimp BlOps.

Currently, this ship is being pulled in different directions and really has no specialization. Devs need to role it for "logi", "BlOps", or something; until then, this ship is not worth the investment. Also, if they go the BlOps route, they need to include making the adjustment to ensure the Nestor doesn't break viability of the current BlOps BS's...

Assuming they carried on the theme with cloaking the other ships are able to covert cyno & are able to jump through covert portals. Then well the new battleship would mostly likely mimic the blops battleships.

And yes I agree something really need to be with the actual role class of the blops battleships and sticking it into a role for just bridging as Rek seven suggested is stupid especially for a sub cap ship ... So please blops are not and should not be just designed as a bridging role ...

This ship is really a big load of meh.

Now if they added some useful bonuses like say nuet range ala geddon, then I see it getting used. Overpowered as **** but people would use itBlink.

I do like the reduced mass but again the bonuses are ****.

As-is I don't really see a purpose for it in w-space. Sub-optimal in almost every role, and of course it will be stupidly expensive for a very long time...

I do expect that it will be great for our KB however. Big smile

Shh Nash!

I think the Nestor is wonderful and you should totally 2 man C4 sites in them when it comes out. No need for a scout, with the remote rep bonus, you can just rep through the damage if any hostiles show up.

The mess at which this ship and the line up is in makes me wonder what the hell they are going to do to the other Pirate Ships.

TBH they should have balanced what they had and not added anything new or as 'groundbreaking.' If they just HAD to add something new they could have done Navy Destroyers, they already did Navy BCs.
