Patch stuck at 0/49.11mb - program not reponding, what not again ??!!

Technical developers of Eve Online you have a serious problem that will result in less subscriptions.

This is the second time Eve has ceased to work due to the patch update not responding.
The first time I tried everything I could think of yet could not make it work. I thought the problem must be with my PC.

Well after a reformat, reload and update of the operating system, download Eve, it worked .... again.
Now it does not, why, all I can put this down to is poor coding of the patch downloader.

Everything else on my PC works perfectly, so am I expected to reload the software on my PC every time Eve does not work ???

I love Eve, but this is the last straw, I was going to activate my second account and buy more game time, not now, sad really.

Dont ask for technical details, you know you have a problem but you chose to ignore it.
The downloader stops responding to the operating system, in todays PC environment that should not happen.

close down launcher

Go to repair tool in EVE program files. Run it until it gets all the way through. This may take three of four tries.

Come back and launch eve again and everything should patch fine....at least it did for me.

Done my time in null sec, now I'm just a Privateer wandering around High and Low Sec.
