windows eve launcher is complaining it cannot reach URL http://cdn1.eveonline.com/662888/RepairData_662888.dat

http://isup.me/cdn1.eveonline.com also shows status of "down".

last 20 minutes is was down...as soon as i post, it's up and my client is downloading patch. Big smile

Cant connect to patch server either. Been trying for 45 minutes..

Still cant connect to patch server. Must be like RNG, a few folks have gotten through.

Same here. Though I have had this problem for about a week. Used to be able to get around it by going direct to the Eve client but of course now that doesn't work as there is an update needed.

That's TQ and should be available, if not check if you can actually reach that file in your browser (warning: that's about 7 GB in size, so make sure to cancel a download if one should start), or if you can reach cdn1.eveonline.com via a trace route.

If you can reach it but the server cannot find it, chances are that something is fiddling with the launcher connection (firewalls, anti virus software, etc.)



Can't reach the site via my browser but I can successfully ping cdn1.eveonline.com via cmd and do a traceroute on the cdn1.eveonline.com. Turned off my Antivirus zonealarm and it works fine. Will have to look into it later but at least can go back to lanching straight from the .exe once it finishes patching.
