Hi,

Please let us filter scan probe results by pilot standing. Right now friendly, neutral, and hostile targets all show the same on the scan result for probing.

Thanks,

Absolutely not, it would make it way too easy to find people in crowded systems. Besides, how would a probe "know" what you think of any given pilot in the first place? If the pilot is smart enough to change the name of their ship, it's your job to figure out what ship type he's flying, and what's the name of the said ship. Absolutely no need to serve intel like that on a gold platter.

Right now all it takes is to ask my fleet to gather in one spot, scan and filter them out. This step is just tedium. If you want to put it in roleplay terms, my onboard ship computer should be able to compare known (friendly) ship signatures to the probe results. If the hostile ships are always moving, this feature does not make it any easier - hardly a golden platter.

Obviously, but the feature you're asking wouldn't just filter out your own fleet, but every pilot that's outside your fleet and not in bad standings. While for your purpose it would simply save time and the tedium of having to filter your fleet out, for a single player hunting for another in highly populated systems it'd be much more than just a minor thing for more conveniency. It'd paint a target on the other players back, with zero effort required from the prober.

edit: at the most you could consider a simple tick box to filter out you own fleet, sorting through every other ship should still be left for the player doing the scanning.
