So, armor repping isn't considered a hostile act in 0.9?

What the hell is wrong with you CCP? You're letting people run around trolling missioners, stealing their stuff, and getting away with it because they have five friends with armor reppers helping them.

Why do you allow this? It's not a fair fight and it's not fair in 0.9 space for you to get ganged up on by five people just because you want to shoot the guy who destroyed one of your mobile tractor units, and stole the second one along with all your mission loot.

Sure, to some of you trolls and griefers I'm just whining. But I just easily lost 750,000,000-1,000,000,000 ISK in 0.9. I bought a PLEX so I could get a decent level 4 missioning ship that fit my skills. I upgraded it and kept trying to get better. I staid in 0.9 space like a good little boy and thought CONCORD would help if I got ganged up or attacked by people who aren't involved in a one on one fight.

So, apparently if I hit someone who stole from me he can have five friends warp in and start armor repping him. Concord doesn't see that as a problem, oh no! And neither do you guys, because you've only had years to make the rules.

There are already issues in this game with bumping and other forms of trolling. I've had enough of this. I bought a three month subscription and a PLEX hoping I could actually play your game and not have the experience totally ruined by other players if I stay in the right place. Instead, I find your game lacking in substance and filled with lifeless trolls merely out there to ruin it for you in hi-sec.

You guys really don't seem to police anyone, scams are plentiful and people with gigantic bounties are doing them. They banned? No. This entire forums title makes me laugh.

Frankly, I'm going to go find a game that isn't for nerds who are to nerds what nerds are to normal people and just stick with it. I don't need to waste my money on your game. The only reason I even gave it a second chance was because someone I was dating played. Congratulations. I'll just go play games that aren't going to be ruined by other players and actually have clear rules of conduct that protect players from this kind of griefing.

I was going to formulate a response to this, but all trains of thought came back to this:

Don't let the airlock hit you in the stern on your way out.

This game is hard and the learning curve is steep, but the way it's supposed to work is that when you are figuring this stuff out you don't have much worth losing.

OP doesnt get it.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

They go suspect. You and your friends are free to shoot him and his friends. And the way it's designed gives you an enormous advantage over them.

They can each only shoot whomever's shot them, while your lot can focus your efforts on each target until they're destroyed in turn.

Sometimes I ask myself, "HB, why do you keep lurking in C&P? It's just ads for merc corps and unsubstantiated 'warnings' about corp thieves, each one identical to the last."

Then a thread like this comes along and restores my faith.Big smile

So basically you tried to murder someone over some assets they tried to steal? And now CCP should change the game that the friends of the person you tried to murder cant even try to stop you?

In what world are you living? You think everyone can just shoot a thief that maybe just stole to cover his fuel expenses in the face and can get away with it..

You are the pure evil sir

Thanks for your valuable and well versed opinion.

The OP thinks he is somehow entitled to shoot people at will but no one else can interfere. He also thinks it is not his fault but CCP should "fix" the game. My post tried to highlight the error of his thinking by switching the perspective somewhat.

It is a common phenomenon observed during CODE enforcement that some bot-aspirants think they should get some special treatment and get the ability to destroy even the slightest interference in their solo play without consequences.

Maybe next time I should add more HTFU , GTFO and general grrrr, so even the pilots with the high blood pressure understand what I mean.

If you were aware of game mechanics in advance of this engagement you would have known better than to engage anyone in your PVE fitted ship.

There is no fault with the game, it might punish the weak and stupid, but it's no ones fault but your own for allowing your demise to happen.

The things you are complaining about are part of what makes eve great.
Knowledge of the gameplay styles of others is important to success.
Knowledge of what friends potential foes might have is important to success.
knowledge of how ships can potentially be fitted and what they can achieve with those fits is important.
eve is full of player made traps in every area of space. The unwary, the incautious and the ignorant falling into them over and over is hilarious.
You have completely failed to grasp what sort of game eve is and this is what has lead you into missioning in the first place.

anyway i thought i might offer some helpful advice as well as the critique above.

1. study the various gameplay choices in eve and try out 3-6 of them to see which you enjoy.
2. Join a community (or yet better join several) in eve that is skilled at that activity/activiites.
3. Try and learn from these people and your own failures.
4. Realise that every loss in eve is largely your fault not that of other players or CCP.

or if that isn't what you want i would be happy to safeguard your isk/possesions during any ragequit that might occur.

OP, you must have accidentally flagged yourself for PVP. You know how in WoW you can type /flag or /unflag for PVP consent? Well, in EVE, the PVP flag button says "Undock".
