Is anything more fun than interceptors?

50-200 man interceptor fleet would be quite fun. IMHO it should be FC'ed so that everyone is free to roam in FC called [target constellation], get tackle, watch out specifically for smartbombers, and report tackle in fleet. Then FC calls which tackle to go kill. The constellation route would include gathering up for simultaneous penetration to flood the interceptors in a far constellation from a surprising back entry etc.

Learning process, hilariously good with clever and careful pilots for getting kills on a roam.

I've tried similiar FCing in nanogang long time ago, but it should really shine on Rubicon warp and bubble immunity, and it relies on pilots to look after themselves. Anomaly bingo coordination in wings would be the advanced fleet cohesion to train for.

I think this would be an interesting fleet concept to experiment with. Obviously, a boat load of interceptors wouldn't be effective at taking out strategic targets (POS's, SBUs, Infrastructure Hubs, etc.) due to a lack of pure DPS. However, at a tactical level (i.e. just killing other subcaps), a massed group of interceptors would probably due pretty well as long as the individual pilots knew how to effectively employ their ships.
