The Nestor; huh, what is it good for?

G'day. So the Nestor isn't gonna have a covops cloak, because according to popular opinion that would totally be OP (yeah, rightRoll)

So then. Light mass for wormholes? Fandabbydozy, except we all know what sleepers do to drones. That, and we all know what wormhole dwellers do to ships that can't cloak that come poking their noses inside wormholes - they're blown out of the sky within minutes, if not as soon as they lose the hole cloak. What purpose, then, does the Nestor actually fulfill? Scanning bonuses are well and good until you consider the fact that you can't cloak whilst scanning in hostile space, and so there's a very high chance you'll be tackled and popped whilst not looking at your probes. But if you do fit an improved cloak, you're losing one of those essential highs which you need for the barely-bonused laser turrets to eke out as much DPS as possible from the weak-tanked speedboat.

So, then, what do?

Never lost a drone, to sleepers. You should learn to use them.

I flew around in WH without cloak for hours without problems. And you can cloak, just not warp cloaked. And as the BS probably has a speed under cloak bonus as Blops you can go to warp after decloak instantly.

??? What the **** are you talking about. You can use a simple prototype cloak to scan cloaked. Learn to play.

Ever heard of Utility highs? Like Startios and Astero have them? No? thought so...

To sum it up: You have no idea and should be ashamed of this post. Whining about ships that arent even on Tranq or Singularity, nor even its stats are out, is pure idiocy.

So long as we're speculating...

A shiny BlOps with domi style drone bonus, lasers and high armor resist.

Imagine a crew of 10 to 15 of these things, spider tanking, with over 50 bonused sentries & laser optimals to match. They appear on grid at optimal, deploy drones, set up a logi chain, destroy everything until you light a cyno then just cloak up.

Well apparently it can fit Clone Vat Bay and has Shuttle Bay. Sort of like mini-outpost for your after-the-stargate endeavours.

You realize light mass affect something else? And that something else might bve very very powerful if the ship have a drone bonus?
