Not mentioned so far in this thread: model designers usually have a polygon count budget. This ship blows that budget out of the water.

I don't get why the shuttle bay has to be cosmetic. A shuttle sized SMA would be useful. It certainly doesn't make or break the ship, but why not since it has one?

So low mass, lots of mentions of medical bay graphically, potential shuttle SMA, anyone else think this is going to be used for moving medical clones or jump clones easier through space / wh space easier than a rorqual etc?

At the presentation on the new Apoch at the last Fanfest the Dev said they like to make a super high poly count model first then scale back and optimize it.

I wonder if any bits of it spin. Spinning is so much cooler than not spinning after all.

Great looking ship... But since the cruiser costs about 450 million, this new battleship is going to be a rare sight.
