SISI won't start

I have installed and updated the Sisi client on my macbook, but every time I try to log onto Sisi when the server is supposed to be up it give me some kinda protocol error. I tried, and failed to search the forums for a fix, and found a severely outdated fix that (needless to say) didn't work, this from Google. I have a saying for times just like this: If Google can't find it than it doesn't exist. Am I wrong this time and there's a fix? Or is it time for me to give up trying to take place in the Sisi tests?

Did you maybe screw up a step? I followed the Evelopedia directions step by step and I am on Sisi with no problems. (I am on a Macbook Pro)

I did follow those steps, I merely neglected to config Sisi, I feel so stupid now >.>
