Posting a question in these forums is almost certain to get pointless, unhelpful responses, such as "use google" or "you're lazy" etc. My opinion that people that have used their time to read your post, and then even more time to write a useless unhelpful response, don't even deserve to be acknowledged. Either they don't know the answer, are trolls, or are dicks. Regardless, i like to think by ignoring them you've effectively wasted the time they took to write their worthless contribution. You can often identify these sorts of players within a few sentences, allowing you to quickly disregard the rest of their post.

So, ignore them, keep on posting your question with complete disregard, and eventually someone like me or another helpful player will come along and post something meaningful to help you along EvE's massive learning curve. Cool

I've been with the game since 2003 and I remember a time when the EVE forums were a nice place to hang, but apparently some people live here, and they spend a lot of time here explaining to people how dumb they are.

It's a shame, but they eventually move on to other games, or their real life improves and their feelings of self-worth improves.

In the end it's a Win Win situation, EVE forum works as their sweet home on the internet, a place where they can vent the unfairness of real-life. Even though they will be quick to refute what I just mentioned, it's just a symptom of their condition.
