For the first time ever, instead of just providing a system for others to host their lotteries, I am hosting an official myEVElotto lottery. In this case, it is to raise funds for the PLEX for GOOD: Philippines Typhoon Relief initiative.

• Tickets cost 1m ISK each and can be bought in multiples (if you want 10 tickets, for example, send 10m ISK).
• There is no limit to how many tickets can be purchased.
• Money should be sent to MyEveLotto (this character).

The way this lottery works is as follows:

• The lottery will run until Friday, December 6th, 2013. This will allow me plenty of time to purchase PLEX and contract them to the "CCP PLEX for GOOD" character before the initiative ends.
• 50% of the total ISK received will be used to purchase PLEX for this donation.
• 50% of the total ISK received will be paid out to a randomly selected winner.
• When the Sisters of EVE Food Relief "'Humanitarian' T-shirt YC115" shirts are distributed, I will distribute them to participants using Chribba Dice. As I have no idea how many PLEX we'll raise, I can't roll these winners until a total is determined as CCP states they will give out two shirts per PLEX. Selection on male/female shirt will be in the order tickets are selected by Chribba Dice.
• If the amount gathered is not sufficient to purchase a PLEX after the winner is paid, or there is a remainder left after purchasing the PLEX, I will contribute the required funds to complete the value of the last PLEX for purchase. (So, if we buy 3 PLEX and there's 100m remaining, I will contribute the funds to make it 4 PLEX.)

The intent of this lottery is to reward someone for their selflessness and donation (plus, it wouldn't be a lottery if someone didn't at least win something) and to raise money for the PLEX for GOOD campaign. With the low ticket cost, it makes this lottery open to anyone, even if they can't afford to buy a PLEX of their own to contribute to PLEX for GOOD.

As 50/50 raffles are quite popular at charity events, I felt that it would be a good method for conducting a lottery for charity in EVE.

This is not a scam. Scamming in relation to PLEX for GOOD is a bannable offense, as per CCP itself.
