What ship should I use for a Ghost Site?

So I'm planning on getting into ghost sites. It fits well with my focus on exploration. But I'm not sure what ship I should use.

FYI, I have about 20 million isk. So I'm only interested in T1 ships, and only cruisers and below.

Right now, I own an Arbitrator and a Maller. The question is, should I use one (probably the Maller) or should I train up another racial group? I've heard

The rats which spawn to a Ghost site are (or were intended to be) without value; with no bounty, no loot...etc.

Therefore, as there is no value in the rats and the rats pretty much end the site, the value of the Ghost Site is in the hack.
You should therefore look at ships which are good at the hacking role, ships with bonuses to hacking and archeaology.

The Heron, Magnate, Imicus and Probe are the T1 ships designed for the role. and (although currently outside your budget) you should also look at the possibilities of the Anathema, Buzzard, Cheetah & Helios, the T2 Covert Ops frigates which, with their covert ops cloaks offer new options.

Some ships may make out well by tanking Ghost Sites but it's far better to run in, hack and be gone by the time the timer expires.

Can you survive the rats long enough to get in and get out in just a t1 exploration frigate? Because I have one...

My advice is to:

1) Pick a cloaked ship with bonuses to hacking and archeology
2) Take a cargo scanner
3) Get in quickly, use the cargo scanner to find the ONE can with the best loot, hack it, and get out of there.

It is tricky to hack two cans before the timer expires and you get exploded. Also as has been said before. the p

Frigate:
Pro:
-Bonus to virus str. This is a big deal for getting the hack done quickly and not failing it IMO.
-Warps fast. covops warps even faster. This is a big deal because the number of sites you find will scale directly with the number of systems you can visit.
Con:
-You will only ever be able to risk getting a single can per site, instead of having a decent shot to get 2 or 3 cans. Even if you're cherry picking the most valuable can, this will eventually be significant value lost from villard wheels or covert research tools.
-In empire, its fairly likely you might not be the first person to check out the site, simply due to population density. This means you stand a fair chance arriving at a site too late to get even a single can, resulting in you dying with no reasonable means to protect yourself, and possibly losing you loot from previous ghost sites.

With a cruiser, you will traverse system to system much slower, there isn't a cheap ship with hacking bonuses outside the Gnossis. But you can tank a cruiser enough that you wont die.

Frig or cruiser, fit 3x warp speed rigs.

Expect to find only 1-2 ghost sites per 100 systems.

The Gnosis has no hacking bonuses.

I use an exploration-tweaked Loki for the ship flying.. but when it comes to that inane clicky game, I actually use a Wacom tablet. P I can click at client-speed on the nodes to get as much done as possible before the NPCs blow everything up (oddly enough, there's never at attack period when I'm running these sites: they appear on o/v, and all go boom; that fast, but whatever).
