Opted for this section as the overview is needed for warfare and tactics. I have got the basic hang of how to set it up and use it lots of the guides are sorely outdated for this possibly the most important part of the screen, can anyone point me in the direction of a good, current guide?
or maybe help with my question's?

1. do the backgrounds and colortags need to be in any particular order?

2. do i need a fleet tab for pvp roams etc?

I have multiple tabs for different circumstances;

All my overviews have POS shields, Stations, Probes, Cynos and the Sun, add to that;

Fleet Overview; All Combat Ships/Hostiles Only
Small Gang; All Ships/Hostiles + Friendlies
Antisupport; All Frigates and Destroyers/Hostile Only
Caps; All Caps/Friendly and Hostile
Drones; All Drones, including Fighters/Hostile only.

Between those I have pretty much all the overviews I need at a quick tab switch. some people like to have a GTFO overview (Celestials/No Ships) but I haven't felt the need myself.
