That feature was backed out, unfortunately. Too many issues with ISPs throttling torrent traffic.

No, this wasn't an issue at all, because people could easily use the current method as a backup.
Instead CCP caved under the enormous shitstorm generated by people who think dumb things, like "torrenting is illegal".

Like every problem ever related to the internet. They need to turn off their porn DL for the launcher to update correctly.
