no, but it's not traveling who take resources, would need to check on a combat situation.
on travel i was at max (75) fps, like on TQ.

yeah, i went to it some minutes ago on TQ to do my shopping and... well, i didn't realized the old background was so... simple.
it's funny how quickly i was acclimated to the new nebulaes ^^

The new nebula didn't strain my PC and its just an old C2D 8600 overclocked to hell.

Not sure what would happen with a bunch of ships flying around though.

Why would a new nebula make any difference to FPS? If anything, the resolution of the background has increased, but even a full-sized image shouldn't be a problem to any computer even from 1995.

a dev said that the images are of the same size, and the nebulae take as much memory as one ship.
however he also asked us for confirmation :P

That's weird, I don't get the standard "warning" message when I click your first link?

I like the Domain screen shot the best. Its more desaturated and subtle compared to the others.

also, someone know what are the grey /blue nebulae, pretty long, and a bit belt like, that we can see on almost every nullsec region ?
it's pretty strange seing it everywhere, make no sense... except if it's another galaxy or something like that ?
