We are still actively working on stability and performance issues in the DX11 version in particular. In the meantime, try switching back to the DX9 version in the launcher settings.

Some players have also reported better performance with the fixed window setting, rather than fullscreen.

OK, that's good to know. The DX11 version does not have any features over the DX9 at this time - in general it uses 5-15% less memory and in most cases runs slightly faster, but we still troublesome cases that we're working on. Future updates will start adding features we can only do in DX11 but we wanted to be sure we had a stable engine first.

What are your machine specs (Windows version, graphics card, driver version)?

I also have this stuttering issue post patch. If only running one client with minimum graphics settings my FPS will max at above 600, then drop below 30 every few seconds for less than a second, then resume the previous FPS level. While multiboxing this stuttering happens on all clients. It happens on either graphics card, tested with multiple graphics card drivers. This only started happening post Rubicon.

DxDiag paste if that helps at all: DxDiag

Thanks for the work on solving this issue.

I can reliably reproduce that this happens with a fps drop to 0 for a split second every time a market call is made or order is updated.

I am not sure if this is the same as the OP, but post Rubicon I am getting tons of pauses, where my client just stops and then if i click anywhere within the client, it all goes grey with the windows loading circle...usually for like 10 seconds and then recovers.

I cannot really PvP as I have now lost 2 ships and a pod due to these issues...

I spent 2 days troubleshooting my machine and did not find any issues...then I thought maybe my network was the issue - and then I played 4 hours of SC2 with not a single network pause...

I also have a recorded fight where It happens like 4 or 5 times...but FRAPs doesn't see the client freeze up...it just looks like i am sitting there with the mouse still...

Really frustrating...

Windows 7
core i5
GTX 260
8GB DDR3 RAM

Would get them once every blue moon before while running 2 clients...now with one client it is unbearable.

Er... That's been around for like forever. The easiest way to see it is go to Jita and view market details for a PLEX.

I would love to see logs from this - run with LogServer active and file a bug report. Please put my name in the title of the bug report to ensure it gets routed to me right away.

So...went through the steps that you linked. Captured a Log_server file and saved it right after several of the pauses. Tried to submit the petition 4 times with the file attached...and got a 500 Internal Server Error every time....can you link me how to submit a bug report for that?

I can. Go to Jita 4-4 and do a "View market details" on PLEX. The game stops dead for a second, then starts up again as soon as the market details are shown. The FPS monitor data looks like this:

0.0 19.62
0.2 18.82
0.4 18.81
0.6 19.68
0.8 18.62
1.1 20.71
1.3 20.87
1.6 20.45
1.8 20.10
4.6 4.50
4.9 4.36
5.1 4.34
5.4 4.21
5.7 14.65
5.9 17.06
6.1 17.10
6.4 19.64
6.6 19.96
6.8 19.71
7.0 20.15

Note the gap in the data from second 1.8 and 4.6.

Runs sligtly faster you say? My FPS gone through the roof on DX11! :) But microshutters are there, that's true. Also, these 2 last days I get a weird thing when running 2 windows - first one launched works like a charm, but the second one freezes often, lags, on scene teardown and restoration it is especially bad (today I was undocking from station about a minute or so, sorry, no logs).

I run Q6600, MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frorz, 4 GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Medium textures, no HDR and low antialising. Everything else is cranked up to max (and I get like 180-190 FPS, extremely good job on the DX11 guys!)

Thanks, I appreciate that. It's easy to get the impression when reading over forum posts that our DX11 version is nothing but trouble, but our stats confirm that the majority of players are seeing better performance and less memory use over the DX9 engine.

That said, please keep posting any issues you experience - our job is never done in improving the performance and stability.

I'm getting a lot of stuttering on DX9, so please don't assume this is a DX11-only issue.

Actually, after trying again to submit this...I think the issue is that the Log_Server File is 10MB, and the bug report only allows 5MB. This was from me running it for maybe 10 minutes. Any other way of me getting the file to you?

The log file should compress well with zip - maybe try that.

Or if you share it with me on Google Drive or some other site like that - you can send me the link in EVE mail.

I'll see if this size limit can be raised, or if I can get some upload site set up for easier upload in the future.
