So I'm kind of wondering what's new skill-wise. Anything new that's a must have for pve and pvp combat.
I scanned through the market real quick to find Armor Layering, Micro Warp drive and the sensor compensation skills. Anything else of note?

Or advice on older glaring holes in my skilltraining are welcome as well.

Got close to 2M worth of unused skillpoints, remap is ready to use plus a bonus remap. So it's not a problem to change the current max perception remap to Intel if those skills require immediate attention.

EDIT: or I could have just checked the post right below mine :( Sorry, any advice is still welcome though.

List of newly added skills, sorted by date. LITERALLY the first post in this forum before you started yours.

Skill training suggestion: Reading I.

Looking at the skill sheet briefly:

You lack any sort of booster skills. Drugs are good, mmkay? Especially for caps and more expensive TII ships.
Get Thermodynamics to IV, even better V.
Sentry drones V. TII sentries rock.
JDC V if you fly caps with any sort of regularity.
If you want to fly Legions, get those subsystem skills to V.
[race] Sensor Compensation are useful low-rank skills.

A couple of situational skills you're missing: Contracting, probing skills, rigging skills, capital capacitor transfers. It's up to you whether you'll need them or not.
