I too was in love with the abo. Took somer blink to put me in one last week and now its gone. :) But I like the changes. I think all the hulls are hot. I even like the drake, its always been better than the ferox hull, come on. And that Myrm/EOS reminds me of an Italian motorcycle. More radical than a Ducati, like a MV Augusta or Benelli. ANd that Hurricane/Sleipner.I ALWAYS thought the cyclone hull was so butt ugly and the hurricane so cool to fly a sword to combat.Now we have three hurricanes, each more awesome than the next. And that ugly Sleipner is history, now I can think of getting one.

On a positive note I can't see the ship icons any more so whenever I open up my ship hanger I'm not distressed by what they have done to my Abso and NH.

If they ever fix the icon bug I suppose I'll move them to another station to prevent eye gouging incidents.

I absolutely love all the command ship model changes. The Absolution is the best in the lot.

I agree with the above quote.

And yes i am a minmatar pilot but I do like all race ships which I have cross trained.

CCP the Red and Gold Ships were the best Amarr color schemes that were in the game until it was changed to a yuck brown color.

And yes minmatar ships have a red brown color scheme.

As they say Trust in the rust or something like that. LolP

Some people in this thread really need better monitors or displays if they can't tell brown from red. I mean, come on. I'm colorblind and I can do it.

I've always loved the Prophecy hull. It was one of the reasons I created myself amarr in the first place back in the day when Amarr were considered the red headed step child of CCP. It is such a BEAST, such a magnificent bird of prey. Then I could finally fly one, and I found out prophecys sucked.

Ahh well.

The new skin is great, and making them a drone boat is perfect. Now prophecy is the Beast of Battlecruisers. Right where it should be.

I for one don't like the hull changes at all. Why must CCP continue to change good-looking into bad-looking. All these years. The ships are fine, then CCP has to change them. My mind cannot cope. Navy mega. Helios. Sleipnir. For every one change that is a good change (scorpion, vagabond) there seems to be 3 that are changes into worse. Please stop making changes that nobody asked for.

Speaking of command ships, why does a tech 2 BC take more time to learn than a tech 2 BS of any kind or any tech 3 cruser ? Everyone uses tech 3s for boosts and tech 2 BS is bigger , more expensive and more usefull for what they are made for

Because they are far more influential in a fight. A T2 battleship does not have the ability to add tens of millions of EHP to a fleet, and because CS now trivially out-boost T3 ships…

…oh, and when you include the skills needed to fly those T3 boosters, the training time difference shrinks dramatically.

well in that case shouldnt a normal BC take more time to train than a BS? And a tech3 is still better at everything else compared to a command ship. Also you say command ships are more influential when really its the Panther and the Hounds that made delve and fountain, i mean in these 11 months that ive been playing ive seen only 3-4 command ships that i can remember and even then they were in high sec
