I'm going to chime in on the feedback of my peers on this, whomever decided to remodel the Abso to look like a Harbinger made a very bad decision, and should feel very bad for doing so.

Before...hotness

After. Distinctly not-so-hot.

If you really wanted to align to T1 hulls, replace the ugly-as-F Harby hull with the original (and gorgeous) Abso hull, not the other way around FFS.

Would you like to know more?

Your first image is an out-of-date image of an Absolution from several expansions ago, before the Prophecy model was even V3d.

Your second image is just as out-of-date, and it doesn't even show an Absolution. It shows a pre-V3 butter-yellow Harbinger.

You might want to use some actual Rubicon footage when talking the gorgeous dark red and gold Absolution http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FG-RHaGpKk.

The abso is cool.
Everything else is bad.
Nighthawk was the sexiest ship in the game, not anymore.

I rather had them use the other hulls for new T2 BCs. Low hanging fruit I guess.

At first I was all like...oh wow! A Feyd thread without being a blog shill... but then I saw the signature and was all like...there it is.


All is normal with GD.


I love the Abso now..and the Eos.... I don't like Drake hull too much anyways.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The Prophesy hull has class, and a distinctive look. The Harby? You seriously suggesting it has a look other that ugly? Harby hull is in the same class as the space potato (Domi, for those of you without a clue).

For a long time I was an Absolution pilot as a player.

I love the ship and wanted them to change it to the Harbinger right from when the tier two battlecruisers were released.

Years I waited, CCP. YEARS. YOU HEAR ME? YEARS!!!!111

Then, I come work here, and they change it.

AND NOW I HAVE A CHARACTER THAT I CAN'T FLY AN ABSOLUTION ON!!!1

The problem you are seeing is not the remodeling, it is the re-colouring of Amarrian T2 ships, from a patch or two ago.

Brown is not sexy, it never will be. Bring back the red and gold!!

Replacing the abso hull with a harby hull is kind of like sending Jessica Alba in for cosmetic surgery to make her lithe lines look more lumpy like Rosie O'Donnel. I don't care how you do her makeup, she still looks like f@#ing Rosie O'Donnel Shocked
