Empty overview on gate-jump

Hi

I've had a quick look in the forum and I can't see a similar thread, so apologies if this has been mentioned already:

I've just jumped in to a system to find that there is nothing at all on my overview http://gyazo.com/575dca659e3de6c995fd527528f4d5de
Coupled with that there are no icons in space either.
I used the right-click drop-down menus to get to the next gate and on approach it was nowhere to be seen until the very last second before jumping. The overview went back to normal on the other side.
Very disconcerting Shocked

ongoing issue since odyssey, still no dev answer afaik
