Wooot! First forum post for me.. too bad it's a "Help" post..

anyway, I have this ongoing, ongoing being every frakkin time, issue where everytime a patch/expansion is released, the launcher fails to update either itself or the client.. Now, I have powercycled my desktop, turned off both anti-virus, firewall, torrent, anything that would suck bandwidth and still the same.. I don't encounter this when playing but only if a new patch is released and almost everytime I end up downloading the 6gb installer which takes hours to complete..

Any help from fellow capsuleers would be better than CCP giving out general troubleshooting which we obviously did already.. ^_^
