Horrible FPS with three monitors

I am getting unplayable fps levels when running three eve clients across three monitors (1920x1080 x3). I hear of other people's setups working just fine so I am confounded as to why mine is not.


Relevant specs:

i7-920 @3.6Ghz
16GB Ram
HD7970Ghz Edition

I get approximately 15-20 fps across the three, regardless of graphics settings, all of them have been tested with interval one and interval immediate.

Update : Changing the display adapter to three separate types and arranging them in the appropriate monitor seems to help. However, whichever monitor is set as my "main" monitor in catalyst will sit around 25-30 fps while the two off of the main will run at 60, or 90 if I set to interval immediate. Why is this the case?

Update 2 : Windows taskbar button overlapping with the eve window causes the game to think it's unfocused dropping the fps. You should probably fix that.
