AWOXers, supercapital scammers, pirates, miner gankers, margin traders, wardeccers, mercs, pod gankers and other scoundrels of EVE - it's time to put our nefarious talents to use for a good cause.

Many of us take considerable amounts of ISK from our targets. Unlike carebears or sov holding alliances, we don't really need all that much of it either - we aren't interested in flying around in Marauders with multi-billion ISK officer modules, nor in spending billions on system upgrades.

That means we are in a good position to help donate some of our ill-gotten gains to the CCP charity drive for the Philippines. Even 2 or 3 PLEX can make a noticeable difference.


If you've donated already or will donate soon, post with how many PLEX you've donated to see if our community here can hit the 200 mark. I'll keep a tally.



Of note: CCP do not approve of ransoming someone's ship or pod under the guise of "Donate to the charity or I blow you up", because they (fairly reasonably) don't want the worst of the pubbies complaining to the charity about it. (And yes, some will, some miners and the like are despicable human beings). So in ransom situations, demand the ISK or other assets come to you as normal, then honor or dishonor the ransom as you see fit, then convert the ransom into PLEX and donate to the fund through the proper channels.

No one wants to pay my ransoms and I'm only trying to be a good guy, why cant these people see this. Current targets already lost over 1b and they do not believe in a little 600m ransom for a good cause.
