I honestly thought the amarr/minmatar thread was the showcase for FW being terrible at forums. I am now very pleased to see that clearly gal/cal has joined us in our badness.

ALL HAIL FW!

We are doing the Eha thing after you finish taking Innia.

The Caldari toons you see doing that are mostly Gallente alts.
They then shoot their alts and say 'oh Caldari use stabs'
Learn the propaganda man.

And test certainly didn't learn how to be sperglords from CalMil.
They came with that skill already maxed out.
We will never compete with them at that one.

Honestly, I've been waiting for the same thing. I participated in the opening days of that offensive, then was working / traveling for the weekend push. When I got back it had stalled out, and I was curious how things had played through.

At the time, I was skeptical taking Innia was possible even with the increased GalMil enthusiasm brought on by TEST joining FW. Making the attempt was the right thing to do strategically. Potentially the payoff for "headshotting" the CalMil resurgence would have been considerable. When we took Enaluri prior to Gorgon Empire joining up that entire campaign went quickly in our favor, so perhaps that's what we were shooting for. In the end, alas, you guys obviously held the system so that's a bust. C'est la vie. GF defending your home. : )

I like the dynamic of having major staging systems for rival Militias one jump from each other. Nenna / Enaluri several months ago was a bloody awesome mess. Eha isn't my regular home, but it seems like most of the fights I am in these days take place there.

If you want reports from the CalMil side, write them up and send them to the Mittani. I'm sure he won't mind having a 2nd perspective on the field.

But about the Innia offensive, GalMil had just finished conquering the Heyd/OMS area. With TEST just joining the warzone, and really no clue on how they would PvP, or where they would be stationed, our push into Innia went well. TEST moved into Innia and shut down the offensive due to huge numerical advantages.

It's non sequitur.

Where did you get the numerical advantage info? I'm really qurious. Because at that time getting 20 people in a fleet was an accomplishment. And 2/3rd of the alliance was killing stuff on curse flying bombers.

In order to have forgotten about something the Gallente Elite must first recognize it even exists.

Who are these New GalMil Pilots you speak of?

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

i am a new gal mil pilot and let me tell you that test being in the warzone has been amazing really.

recently i've been rather short on spare time to play video games so get this right.

i log in, hear that test is plexing in eha with a decent sized fleet. i speed over to eha and ask on comms if anyone will sell me a ship.

this cool chick gives me a kestrel for free. i warp to a plex with my galmil homies. test warped in like 20 talwars and assorted other frig/dessie junk and we killed almost all of them. (the ones who survived warped out contrary to their fc's orders)

after that i just logged off and went on with my day.

that story aside, my reaction to reading this thread?

good for the newbros in cal mil. they can make easy isk and learn pvp from some cool dudes.

Logged on last nite to sort out skillq, I see lot of orange in my local and undock.
15 minutes later, its 4 kills (+1 pod), 1 loss + 3 more kills (+2 pods) on my alt
That's 1 kill every 2 minutes, fun all the way.

Except there were no huge numerical advantages. Turned out that sniping corms can't capture a plex from 100km out and that coraxes get absolutely stomped by a competent talwar fleet. I know, I know, admitting losses is hard, we've all been there.

Damn it, people always forget that there's an H in my name. I'm not a troll by the way, I am a TEST-leadership authorized goodposter. I'm here to debunk some of the spin that's going on and generally spread hard facts.

Yeah, obviously sniping corms should best be utilized in range of the button. That way we could cap plexes with them.

Kind of disappointed he hasn't written an article about it either. And it's never a failure when you can create 3k+ deaths/day in a single system for multiple days. Big smile Most fun I've had in quite a while.

Oh, wait. We're not supposed to have fun. Sorry, man. Not being able to take Innia has destroyed the Gallente Militia morale. Our guys are no longer logging in, are staying docked, and are for the most part a bunch of pansies. I can't tell you how much effort it has been to get JUSTK pilots to log in and get 60-100+ FW final blows each day. It's been a rough road and our guys are all bitter and all that. If we don't shape up soon QCATS will pass us on eve-kill for most corp kills this month (except RvB). Then what? Failcascade is what.

In all seriousness, however, Funky should man up and write an article on the Gal/Cal mil front. It's been non-stop, on-demand pvp from Militias and Pirates alike for quite a while now.
