I can't just pretend you didn't point out the perfect addition to my analogy. What you said is literally exactly what happened. The Nâzi's (GalMil) got pushed away from Stalingrad(CalMil systems) and all the way back to Berlin (GalMil systems) where you sit in a bunker thinking about shooting yourself. I'm just agreeing with your analogy because its fantastic. I'm just agreeing with your addition to my analogy!

We agree on analogy, just not on nationality. In RP terms and in terms of my analogy, Nazi Germany (caldari militia) is surrounding Stalingrad (gallente homes) but is not actually winning anything tangible in regards to the war.

I find it hard to see a counter interpretation representing the current facts any more accurately than that.

This interpretation is by far the most useful one regardless of you capacity to understand it.

All the name calling, swarming, propaganda efforts... I've said it before, and I'll say it again - you guys are trying so hard (tryhard?) to be the Goons (in FW??). Considering you got bent hard by them I can't understand why, maybe it's the fact that you were their pets for so long, maybe its a form of Stockholm syndrome, who knows. Whatever it is, sorry to inform you but you are failing at that. There can only be one Goonswarm, and you definitely are not them.

I think it's a bit different. The Germans went "all in" in Stalingrad and right after it the Russians launched a massive offensive. The Gallente didn't go "all in" (supply lines still supplying more than enough ships, players' pocketbooks still full), and after Innia was secured by Khan, Super Chair, Templis, and others (left to their own devices TEST would have failcascaded), TEST stayed docked in Innia and didn't really mount any sort of offensive at all.

So anyways, those are the slight differences between Stalingrad and Innia. I'm sure there's some counter argument on how Eha is like Leningrad, or Helm's Deep (a place where Gallente go to hold off the Caldari/Orc hordes). We're still waiting for TEST make their final push on Mordor (err... Nennamaila), but at this point in time I think they're simply too lazy to pull it off.

Edit: One more thing - Get your RP right. The Caldari are the Space Fascists. Gallente are the freedom loving democracy.

This one is about right. We regularly send two pilots out with only one fighting ship. The second pilot salvages the wrecks on the field to build himself a ship to keep on fighting.

BTW, who gets to be Leningrad, Moscow, and Stalingrad?

We know all the territory Caldari have taken so far is all the open space between Germany and Russia proper.

No no its more like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. You see TEST (Indiana Jones) and Short Round (CalMil) are on an adventure to take back the shankara stones(GalMil space) from the evil kid touching Modorum(GalMil.)

Another apt analogy because in the end pooh gets the honey (warzone control and isk) and the bees are a minor nuisance that no one cares about.

Was there an alternative version of the book?
Cause in my book Pooh does not get the honey, and gets to a really nice conclusion, let me quote:

Pooh: “I have just been thinking, and I have come to a very important decision. These are the wrong sort of bees.”
Christopher: “Are they?”
Pooh: “Quite the wrong sort. So I should think they would make the wrong sort of honey, shouldn’t you?”
Christopher: “Would they?”
Pooh: “Yes. So I think I shall come down.”

Shoot them all! Be polite.

See but in the animated series pooh gets honey all the time. So there's hundreds of of examples of pooh eating honey.
