It's funny how so many gallente seem to place such an importance on a number that is so easily fakable. Didn't Gevlon get top killer/month by killing his own alt a thousand times a few months ago? Yeah, KBstats do mean a lot.

You may have got what you call rich in a month of being here most of us have been here for time and got rich beyond ur belief during t5 cashouts when it affected how many lps u payed for stuff at the lp store. If I measured success on a scale of sov owned, I would've joined EMP or goons the day we left fountain. I also don't care about your caldari farming alt, after all faction warfare is just another lowsec carebear place, with some added, but dumbed down pvp. Perfect for TEST right now, really.

We thought we'd be making boatloads of ISK and gallente tears, and FW hasn't failed us in that regard so far :)

KBstats are like a (male genitalia)-measuring contest. Completely useless, no indicator of any ability at all and easily forgeable. And people who need that sort of thing tend to not be very relaxed either.

Case in point: Gevlon Goblin, both the worst pvper and the biggest carebear this game has ever seen getting top ranked of the month on battleclinic. And people like you, who come across as pubescent teens craving for... acknowledgement(?) being completely hyped on their stats.

FW sov indicates ability then and very relevant, not alt farmable and people who are horny for sov are very relaxed, and not rageposting topic after topic :D

And again, we've literally never seen anyone here crave acknowledgement as much as you, Zheo, and being so absolutely stoked for doing what your leaders ordered you to do.

Actually, kb stats are forever. Long after the pendulum has swung countless times, and you've kicked people out of their home systems and people have kicked you out of yours: the killboard record will remain. (Though it was worth getting every single system just once, but then at least I have a medal for it)

As for not being indicative of any ability at all - sure if you talk about f1 monkey fleets and isk efficiency, but BC points reward those who fight outnumbered and outshipped. It's not a perfect metric, but it's the best out there.

He's top ranked by what metric? He has two kills, barely has less than 100 net points for the entire month.

My only guess is that he's top ranked compared to a bunch of you F1 testies who can't pvp your way out of a wet paper bag unless you're in a fleet F1ing what the FC calls - and if so, then guess what, BC is in fact doing a pretty good job rating your ability to pvp (hint, fleet + F1 is not indicative of any pvp ability).

Two notes on this:

1) I posted at the start that it would be nulli 2.0, another slaughterfest (and nulli got T4 too), and none of that is false.
2) They are posting that kbstats don't matter, and I'm posting the reverse. I guess we both win :)

Additionally, he's not saying "kbstats don't matter" he saying that kb's are not indicative of pvp skill and that it's forgotten relative to sov. And that I completely disagree with. I can look at the top 10 on BC and know from my own experience that most of those pilots are amazing solo and small gang guys (goodbye loren, you will be missed o7)


EDIT: Also, were there really a lot of "test won't get high WZ control" posts? I know as soon as heard the stream saying they were coming to FW I looked forward to (apart from clueless nullsec noobs to farm) a gallente wz drop and started tracking navy domi prices.

I'd go with KB stats don't matter as much in null sec, but DO matter a whole ton in low sec.

The objective in null is different in low sec, especially in FW low sec. Sov > everything right?
