Stupid question here:

Im not much of a PI buff... so maybe I am missing the point here.. .but doesnt hisec PI suck? Or is the objective to just setup factory planets in jita and ship the materials in?

Either way... seems like a ton of work to operate in hisec...

Yes, hisec PI sucks.

Putting up a poco on a very busy hisec planet will repay itself after a couple of weeks and from than on, you have passive income. If you put up pocos everywhere and don't have to fight for them to much and wait for a couple of weeks (2 months?)
You start to make some side-income.

But, IGNORE THAT!

Hisec people want some just to have some.
Nullsec people want all just because they think they have a right to them or something.
Mercs get hired, corps go to war, content is created.

It rocks! Lol

My money is going to go to RvB taking first place when it comes to highsec POCOs.

In highsec I think they could take on both goons and marmite at the same time if they had to.

So I have a little time on my hands...

According to our kill board, of the last 150 ships killed in Red Fed by Marmite, I saw the following:

69 killed outside of Jita, 4 or 5 killed in josemeto(sp?), 0 killed in Otela (our hq system)
The majority of those 69 were either in sivala, uedama, and hek.

So where is this many you speak of? At best you get next door to our HQ, but for the most part you camp Jita and common traveling choke points. You are good at what you do, camping trade hubs and attacking lone targets on common travel routes, but that really does seem to be the extent of it.

Edited to add: page 7 is where I found the first kill in otela.

How are wars measured when there are no tactical objectives? The only measurement of "Success" I can think of is ISK damaged.

One says there is no honor in hunting dumb targets as they travel common routes.

The other says there is no honor in massive fleet blobs.

Clearly 1v1 is impractical for groups so large.

The only solution I see for **** measuring is pilot limited fleet engagement to the death. Only then can we have a true measurement of each sides ability to manage their fleet and the overall skill of the entities.

Wheez hisec pofolk dont stand a chance against those fancy nullsec folk with there fancy cars....

Everytime I see marmite they're killing folks on gates, pipes, stations, wherever they can. If you constantly see them on station, I have some advice...undock you're ship and have a go.

I mean you wont get 3000 goons showing up for any random timer, but the point is, if you want to escalate, one side can, one side can't. In any scenario, we win.



I really hope this happens as I know me and a fair few others will be there to pick off any criminal that turns suspect, just to keep High Sec safe ya know.

Doesn't have to be goons but either way if it provides free targets might as well come to shoot em.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Lol I still remember the times where a purple fleet came after us and we needed to dock up..... or fight till we would be dead. haven't seen that in a long time.

Eve is not about others playing the way YOU think its to be played. Eve is about others playing as THEY like, and no matter how much you deeply believe, you are not better than anyone because you like to fight in a different scenario then the others do.

You can only compare 2 groups when they both are bout doing the same thing. You can compare 2 0.0 space holder alliances, or 2 high sec trade hub hunting corps. But you cannot ever compare one to the other.

The only way you could do that is if you discovered a way to measure the enjoyment of each side.

Im Confused..

Why do people think that there is no money in owning the most used highsec pocos?

You do understand that 2Mil isk a use times 4000 people using it is isk right.. And tbh I think you guys have forgotten about Miniluv who lives in highsec and would love to gank you while you try to kill a poco..

The isk is there in droves.. I dont understand why everyone fails to see that?

Esp sense goons did the right thing and set a low tax rate so the average bear is not bothered by them owning the poco and goes about there business flushing the wallets of goons with isk for the masses...

Is baffled by the highsec pvp mindset..

Do some PI for five minutes, each one of you then tell me there not making isk
