I sketch at times, mostly freehand with a pencil or pen, on rpetty much whatever scrap paper I find laying around or have on me at my hideously boring all night security job, lol. Not really sketched with any one universe in mind, can always change write-ups on things like this.

Harrier Class: Destroyer or frigate size at best, two thruster drives on the main hull, one on each outrigger.

Nice! How'd you get the perspective just right on the twin-boomed one? Did you use drafting techniques, or just free hand it?

Very nice!

Makes me want to break out my sketch pad and pencils. That said, I've not touched them in years. Probably more rust on those skills than an abandoned Minmatar refinery.

getting back to this thread.

Found this one I did a while back, very rough since it was sketched once again at work, was trying for a Gallente-ish funky style of assymetrical ship.

Not decided on the weight class yet. Need to go ahead and do some more views. The bridge section is in line with the center thruster pod, for references.

Very good work, I lack the drawing skill to draw like that. you should be proud of those.

I'd be interested in what you think the Imicus should be update to.. And also your version of a Capital ship

had some more sketchy time while waiting, so I put this out.

In the vein of EVE: Valkyrie, the Minmatar Atgeir (Halberd) Fighter

Icelandic for 'Halberd' (if I am not getting this wrong, or at least close) the Atgeir has two large primary powerplants that provide an very high thrust and acceleration ability when called upon, it is armed with a twin barrel reciprocating autocannon on each wing tip (using the Gast method, much like the Russian GsH series autocannons on fighter craft today) and a twin tube missile launcher on each side of the fuselage in their own sponsons below the wings and powerplants.

This design favors speed and acceleration as opposed to the Einherji fighter type.

Minmatar Atgeir (Halberd) Fighter.

Done freehand on scrap paper, will try to provide more views, such as an aft on view, as time permits.

Those are very cool sketches. I think you should develop the Atgeir more though, the wing needs more of a sail to it. Nice job overall

I'll be looking to see what i want to add on, i get the ref with the solar sail type structure and have an idea for that. Adding them to the wings makes it more like the Einherji fighter, although the fuselage on the Atgeir is much longer, and a good deal of that length is the length of the two powerplants and main thrusters! The idea is speed and acceleration, so it better have good accel compensation or a well padded couch for the pilot, cos when the pilot hits the juice, it's Go Time!.

The other wing is more or less blocked by the angle I draw things at, also, part of the solar panels are empplaced in the aft upper surface of the wings.
