I was just looking for some advice on the Paladin and fitting it with the new bastion module for lvl4 mission running. I haven't had a chance to play with set ups yet so was wondering whether anyone else has yet? Also the use of the MJD.

I am currently using tachyons and was wondering whether they were still viable with the bastions module or whether people have switched to using pulses? I'd be interested to see what fits people have for mission running Paladins post-Rubicon with the new bastion module.

bring a mobile depot in the cargo and use tachyons and pulse!

highs guns, tractor beam, 2 utility slots, and bastion
meds mostly tracking comps, maybe sensor boosters, or prop mod.
lows 3-4 heatsinks 3-4 tank slots
rigs I'm going to use a t2 burst aerator and something else, haven't decided on the 2nd rig yet.

400+ tank against all NPCs in bastion mode. 73%+ resists across the board.
Swap to pulse when things get close.
Swap the MAR for a deadspace medium if you really want to.
~7m of cap with Tachyons (MWD off), ~10 minutes with Pulse.
MWD is there mainly for looks, and to scoot to the next gate when warranted. Fit or unfit it as needed via the mobile depot to minimize the cap penalty (without MWD cap is ~30 minutes.)

Tachyons: 1033 DPS Range: 73km+51km in Bastion
Pulse: 1093 DPS Range: 33km+21km in Bastion

tl;dr - Try not to screw it up. Bear

Not trying to be a **** or anything but over the last few weeks there have been multiple threads regarding exactly what you are asking; along with proposed fits. You might save yourself some time by scanning a few pages into the forum before making a new thread and waiting on people to copy/paste the relevant threads.

Bring a mobile depot with you like chainsaw said and spare modules and you are pretty much invincible until you get a closed socket.
