There is an in game item called "Hull Tanking, Elite " but its only searchable in the contracts and there is no contract up for it. So probably none of these item around in the client yet. I want my hull tanking cert back! The last part of the description hint like if we all with hull tanking elite should have got one of these but maybe CCP forgot something... Roll

Hull Tanking, Elite
Description:

This certificate represents an elite level of competence in the infamous practice of "hull tanking". It certifies that the holder can fully use all modules relating to hull tanking. The holder is aware that "real men hull tank", and also that hull tanking is really dumb. With this certificate, you've maximised your ability to rely on your structural systems to absorb damage, although hopefully you're smart enough to know what a daft idea that is.

During a certificate system restructuring, CONCORD issued a physical copy of this certificate to ensure that those elite hull tankers would always be recognized (at least by themselves).

Could do with something like this to replace the "WANTED" sign on "Show info" with "HULLTANKER".

Masteries are broken
They don't reflect reality properly and will make clueless concentrate on numbers and time wasting.

Lots of people will think that V is needed for anything to be competitive, which is bullshit.

CCP is cluelessly ******* with the minds of their new players.

I thought this would be a comment on the fact that Hull is the City of Culture in 2014. Oops

I'd say that Hull, the city, is pretty much pre-nerfed, and piling more on the poor sods that live there is just cruelty.

A discussion for another thread. I'm sure their resources are currently diverted making sure the new metrosexual vampire game called WOD and Valkyrie due for [winter next year at the earliest in its earliest possible incarnation] will be great.

Gold ammunition would be terrible.
Gold is soft and malleable... it is among the least durable metals known to us and is comparable to lead in many ways. Mercury is the only metal which is softer. A golden round would splatter, harmlessly, on the hull of a ship, if it didn't melt into mist from the heat and friction of being fired out of the barrel of the weapon it was loaded into. You might as well make ammo out of puppies and gum drops.

That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right...

Evidently you're intentionally dodging the general idea of "golden ammunition" in order to be a smartass.

However, in rebuttal, surely (at least in a projectile format) the conductive properties of gold would make it an incredibly powerful burst EM/thermal ammunition? A lot of energy could be conducted from a source (internal capacitor or something) to a target with little resistance or wastage, resulting in higher EM/Therm DPS. Maybe idk I'm not a science scientist.
