Tranquility Server Turning Back to pre-Rubicon State

After a rocky release of the new expansion, Rubicon, CCP announced that they would be rolling back to a pre-Rubicon state.

"There are too many problems, too much complaining, it's just not going the way we really want to go," stated an anonymous developer. "It's to be expected, really. I mean, just look at the Rubicon tagline. No, turning back."

When confronted with the fact that no comma used to exist in the tagline, the CCP dev squeaked away quickly.

Sources report that several capsuleers have called 'no take backs' and are rallying for the original uncommaed slogan to continue.

"There is no turning back is what they told us, and that's what they need to stick with. I don't want to go back. Just because there's no working launcher does not mean that the game is bad. In fact, I mostly just post on the forum anyway. The client is largely superfluous for me," stated one infuriated capsuleer.

The launcher is expected to work as soon as someone on the dev team googles how to rename and delete files through the patch system, a difficult task that nobody would expect anyone who was a programmer on the greatest game in all existence to know how to do, especially if they were from EA.

Other capsuleers are ambivalent to the changes. "I spend all my time hanging out alone in Captain's Quarters, watching TV. It amazes me how true-to-life EVE really is."

Please stay tuned as this story continues to develop into the past.

Well, if we are going to play with punctuation, might as well move the words a bit....

Turning back? No!

This is the first in a series of satire articles that I will post here to poke fun at EVE Life, EVE Events, and especially the people in charge. :)

I'm loving EVE and I love writing. And the EVEion didn't hire me.
