Please explain your choice to change the navy comet?

Awww man, they ****** up the Comet? That was one of my favorite Frigates because of its unique style. Now it's a pile poop. :(

Well, I don't know if this counts as rubbing salt in the wounds of people who've despaired at losing their flashing 'police' light, but...

Log into Sisi (if it hasn't already been mentioned here) and check out the Customs NPC Comet, woop woop...

Black 'n' White, with main White light on the top, plus a flashy Blue on one side and flashy Red on the other, with a wee bonus Blue cylon swipe-light on the front :)))

Space police, ftw... but we can't fly 'em :(((((

I too will miss those good times, of nearly being declared insane, at WOO WOO'ing at my computer monitor while flying a fed navy comet, this is a sad day when CCP take away all the better stuff in eve, and then proceed to sell it back to us in the future Cry

I have to agree here. The Navy Comet looks good as is. If you have to have a unified style for all navy ships, why not take the current TQ Comet's color scheme and apply them to the other Gallente Navy ships?

No, black would have been no more effective than standard camo... as all camo/paint schemes would have no effect what -so-ever on ship scanners.

The point of the story was that NO camo... of any color... would have ever been effective in space. Thus they got stuck with the old terrestrial military standby... awww never mind. Cute joke/story ruined when you have to explain it.

I love all the other Gallente (and even Caldari) skin updates but I have to agree the change to the Comet is unfortunate. The Hookbill is even worse though I suspect it might be bugged.


Fingers crossed they don't do anything to ruin my beloved Amarr ships.

Who hasn't stayed up a bit too late, found a Comet, and gone around space imitating a siren? Or gotten drunk/high and done the same?

My first experience with the Comet was in FW, giggling evilly while I made siren sounds zooming through Black Rise.

CCP--PLEASE give us the Customs Official Comet!!!!

I will gladly pay 20 bucks to be able to have that be my default Comet skin instead of the Camet.

Ahh I see the Camo paint guy at CCP has been at work again. Not happy with ruining the Navy mega, you now seen intent on fuglying other stuff. Good move.
