Stratios and Astero - Way over priced?

Just checked the LP store for the two ships.

Stratios is 300,000 LP, plus 20,000,000 ISK
Astero is 100,000 LP, plus 10,000,000 ISK

I've been getting around around 2k per LP, so that puts the ship over 600m ISK.... wow, over twice any other Pirate Cruiser.

Same with the Astero, over twice.

Even at lower LP exchange, they seem to be a Gank waiting to happen.

Maybe over time they will somehow magically drop..... perhaps once they are no longer useable.

Did you check in hisec? They are cheaper lp-wise in null iirc.

Wow... what happened to 30k/120k respectively for the S0E blueprints?

At those prices a) I've wasted my time the last 2 weeks grinding L4s, and b) way too expensive to bother with.

Blueprints are better, but I didn't figure the actual end cost.

patch notes are hard

For the Sisters of EVE corporation, prices are:

Built Astero: 100,000 LPs and 10m ISK
Astero 1 run BPC: 30,000 LPs and 15m ISK
Built Stratios: 300,000 LPs and 20m ISK
Stratios 1 run BPC: 120,000 LPs and 30m ISK

For the Sanctuary corporation, prices are:

Built Astero: 80,000 LPs and 5m ISK
Astero 1 run BPC: 20,000 LPs and 10m ISK
Built Stratios: 240,000 LPs and 15m ISK
Stratios 1 run BPC: 80,000 LPs and 20m ISK

For a lot of people a difference of 100-200m on the stratios won't be significant, because Its a ship that can do high-level PVE while retaining its ability to warp cloaked. It could cost 600m and would still see plenty of use. I'm much more worried about getting jumped by these things than paying to own one.

If the Stratios does settle under 400m per hull ( i suppose it should eventually ), it'll be quite interesting because it will be disposable enough to not completely bling it out, and to use as a core ship in some fleet doctrine.

You do know these prices have been known for well over a month? Maybe consider checking out the F&I forum, test server forum as well as log in on Sisi before it hits live?

Was posted in one of the dev blogs stating that there is a 50% premium on them in High Security space LP stores. Make sure you keep up with dev blogs. They are usually quite informative. Big smile

Bought the cruiser BPC in high for 120k LP and 30m LP. Add another 30m in minerals (which you can mine in high-sec or get from reprocessing loot) and the ship is yours. It's not really cheap, but not really expensive either, even if you don't got to null for it.

Only 30M in mins? That's really good. Ships made from BPCs will really drag the price down. Give it a couple of days.

You're implying in your post that some of the mission runners are stupid enough to pay 180,000 LP for 20m in minerals (counting the 10m isk cost of this option).

BPCs won't drag the price down, they ARE the price.

I assumed from the OP that the BPC prices were changed at rollout. Turns out they haven't after all. Picked up a few of each, and they're in the oven now. P

If it's too expensive now, just wait until supply meets demand and prices settle. Don't complain about high prices until AT LEAST 24 hours after the item is released on TQ.

Might be a bit more or less. I had the minerals from reprocessing in stock, but they showed up as something like 28m (and I have low to mediocre production skills only).

You're joking right? Lp store prices don't change because of supply/demand.

Well although I do read the forums, it's tough to read EVERY post on EVERY topic.

But I understand the impulse to post negative comments that have ZERO value.... I do it all the time!



So with the understanding of BPC costs and the above posted material prices.... looks like it will settle in the 300m ISk range for the Cruiser.

Not bad.

supply and demand. if you can sell it high why sell it low

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
