Where do you think or would like the new Stargates to deliver us?

Obviously.

Gosh, do you even play the game? Because I'm pretty sure it's already set in space (and stations :/)
I logged in three minutes ago.

Noticed ISIS lacks any actual point for me and doesn't even highlight the ships i can use.
Noticed the client runs a bit faster.

Realised that i'm still in RvB.

Noticed that there is literally nothing for me to do,
because all the things i *could* do, are pointless.

TTP: 0.000001 seconds

That long???

...And I had to say long....

As to the OP, Im hoping that new gate set up in high sec will allow opening more high sec. Essentially Empire sponsored expansion to add territory to the empires.
Those in low will allow opening more low: Pirate sponsored expansion of their territory.
Those in Null will allow opening more Null: Null empire sponsored expansion of their territory.

In all cases we should get new stuff to harvest, new stuff to build, and new stuff to blow up.

I did some ghost sites on Sisi, and some of the loot looked like it had nothing to do with making implants. Im guessing its stuff to save up for when the new stargates get added to the game.

You sound even more bitter than usual....

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Interesting thought. What if you unlocked some Oregon Trail type scenario. First corp to build gate, jumps....and...nothing. They're the first, right? No Concord. No NPC stations. Bunch of rats, rocks, and stars (where's the rats come from? I don't know. Screw off. Stop yelling at me.)
You can get mins/loot...but to profit, you need to turn around and go back to new eden. Some are content with this. But some tire of turning around. They're nagged constantly by the thought of "What is out there?" So they band together. They load up a diverse fleet with all they Think they'll need for the trip. They don't turn back.
To keep moving, you have to defend your (space) wagon train, mine, build, maintain, produce, all by yourself. Eventually you set up some frontier forts. Some stations where other travelers can restock on the journey. But the tip of the spear has to push and support themselves with what they have/what they can find. Pushing onward to whatever is on the other side, if there even IS anything on the other side. True frontier mechanics. True unknown. True survival. There will be dead ends. There will be pitfalls. ...There will be space dysentery.

and basically remove 90% of pvp possibilities?

Woudl only work if another choke point was created

It removes 90 percent of pointless gank possibilities and let's the players truly roam the sandbox and take risks beyond the bubble camps and that boring style of game play.

The new gates lead to Star Citizen. CCP is engaged in a hostile takeover of the game and will forcibly use it as the foundation for EVE 2.0, Now With Moar PvP and WiS.

The first exapnsion will be titled, "The Door. It's Open. WTF?!?"

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

CCP has logged all player activity since game Launch.

The new Stargates will lead back to EVE but 10 years earlier. All player activity that was being conducted then will be duplicated by CCPs advanced PRISM-like super AI.

All actions done through the stargates will ripple to the future. Its like an Eve Delorian. Many adventures will be had trying to correct the present, by fixing the past.

or

They will lead to the new Eve Store.

We will find old earth a barren wasteland destroyed by war with no humans, we will then go out and find a new planet to colonize with lost minmatar tribes inhabiting it, we'll decide to live like hippys and send our carriers into the sun and give up modern medicine & technology, we'll quickly die without antibiotics and doctors, and the remaining survivors will become wives to minmatarian Alpha Males, willingly or unwillingly.

So, it's interesting then...the general negativity to opening up Jove Space is clear and if CCP take note, then they would be wise not to open it up or they would most likely face a riot lol.

However, where do you guys think that these new stargates may open up to?

More w-space? More null space? :/

Speculate and discuss (if you can).
