Hello, i was just wondering if it is possible to convert a trial account into a paid account using a starter pack?

Hi Villairs GreenGlade

I assume you are referring to the Commsioned Officer Edition of EVE Online.

Unlike the last retail edition of the game, this one uses a CD-key rather than a Game Time Code. This means it can either be used to create a new account, or confirming an existing trial account, but not to add game time to a full account.

If you for some reason do not recieve items related to the offer, or have any issues upgrading, please create a petition.

Etetia,

He specifically asked to convert a trial to a full acct... If by "confirm an existing trial" you mean "convert trial to full" then it should work.

OP -- keep in mind that if you got a buddy invite, using the box edition is not a valid "upgrade" option for getting the buddy account bonuses.

Is this to prevent the Apocrypha "success" where people were getting cheap retail copies for like $5 containing a gtc?
