I mostly agree, though adding space isn't a problem by itself.

The point of adding more space in Eve should not be to bluntly add more of it, but to add some with new and different dynamics.
Wormholes were somehow created that way, and while indeed their mechanics eventually came to be known, understood and mapped, capsulers life there still is different from K-space, and so is the W-space gameplay -- to a certain extent.
It creates more niches, more diverse playstyles, more opportunities.

Agreed on that. I'm not anti all new space. I'm just against adding space simply to add space. If space has to be added to introduce a new mechanic that is interesting & dynamic, that's different.

To toss it out there though. Imagine if we only had 5 classes of wormholes. The current C2-C6. & 'C1 WH's' were actually standard K Space systems who had a Wormhole in them. So any system with a wormhole gets the C1 effects of each Wormhole it is connected to (& could gain multiple modifiers if connected to several different classes of WH). Suddenly you both get clues about wormhole presence in the system from system effects, as well as dynamic changes to the modifiers in K space also. As well as the ability to try and control those modifiers to your advantage by collapsing wormholes.

Or a new modifier could be solar storms that can occur in any space.

So you don't have to introduce new space to introduce new dynamics always. You can introduce a new mechanic into an existing space.

LOL. After Dust and Incarna / Ambulation, I take all Fanfest presentations with plenty of salt. :)
