... have a general idea of where to go / what to finish but I'm pretty new to the game, want to know what you guys think.

After I bought, I trained HAC from 0 to IV, Long range targeting to V, and just finishing up Logi (0 to V) then I'll get Heavy Assault Missiles from IV to V - then was thinking about rounding off drone skills (T2 sentries, T2 heavies, etc.)... then I don' t know..

I could further perfect Gallente/Caldari skills or begin cross training to Amarr/Minmatar
Stay pure subcap or go capital (dread / carrier)
???

Also, currently mapped for high Perception and Willpower -- whens a good time to remap / if ever?

Any thoughts or insight would be most appreciated :)

Get repair systems V asap, it's an x1 time skill with a %5 bonus that opens up some t2 gear if i remember correctly. Other than a few places where you you could some spit and polish, you're pretty good.

Whether your cross train or train for caps is up to you. I have always felt that mixing sub-cap and cap skills is pretty useless.

Wow where to start with your skills.... This guy is all over the place so I think the original owner had no clue what to do.

Okay so you're new to the game and thinking of going to capital ships... This is a recipe for a awesome lossmail. Unless you have a lot of RL money to burn on PLEX for ISK and watch it go pop in game don't do it. Long term maybe but don't worry about that now.

First download Evemon... It's awesome at making skill plans

Buy two +3 learning implants for the attributes you're training on... +4 if you can afford them. Google "How not to get podded in Eve" and watch the youtube video. Stay out of nullsec if you can.

Since you're already Perception and Willpower finish your gunnery skills. He had T2 hybrid turrets but doesn't have the core gunnery skills to 5. This will help in PVP. Figure out what race you want to fly and make sure you have that races guns (Or missiles).

After this remap to Intelligence/ Memory and train core and tanking skills up.

Buy a bunch of frigates and lose them to PVP... Repeat with cruisers... Then Battlecruisers... By the time you get to curisers you should have a BASIC idea of how to PVP. Also look at PVP corps. Highsec wardec corps are like PVP on training wheels so if you can get in one that could be good.

There's nothing wrong with having dreams of flying a capital but take it slow, learn how to PVP and that way you won't lose a carrier because you failed to do something very basic.

Good advice from IIshira there.

Stay subcap and learn PvP for a year or so. Capitals aren't *better*, they're just different. The skill tree for them is a whole different path than what you need at the moment.

You could stay mapped as you are, and train ships n guns for a long time. YOU will figure out when it's time to flip/remap.
And remember, you could train a skill here and there with a bad map. You just don't want to do that for several months.
