patcher launcher and repair not working

hello. I recently uninstalled eve and tried to reinstall it. It installed the launcher and from the launcher tried to install eve. it stopped at 15% twice and quit on me with an error. I downloaded the repair tool and it said that the payloads were corrupted. I downloaded the 2 payloads and offline installer and it came back with an error that the payloads could not be found. I reinstalled the launcher and it failed again at 15%. everytime ive completely removed all files. now I just downloaded the online installer again from the website and its finaly redownloading the 2 payloads, again another 6gig download. and if it doesn't work again what do I do? ive already had two weeks that I couldn't get the launcher to work after an update last month, which I lost skill time on this toon for and lost paid subscription time. after downtime Tuesday night I came back Wednesday and my launcher tried to download a patch update....and failed....which is when this started this time. I asked my corp mates and they said that they had no such download only I did. luckily I could login then using the exefile but now that I tried a fresh install again im out of luck and cant login while im paying to play. over the last three months the launcher hasn't worked for me but a few weeks. im not sure whats going on but its about time I just stop playing because its becoming a huge hassle to even log in. no I have no files to paste into this as im trying to patch again I cant copy and paste a log I don't have. really frustrates me knowing ive sent in mnultiple petitions and bug reports on both my charecters over the last few months and the only response I get is go to the website and read how to fix your launcher....very very dissapointed

yay another 15 hour wait to see if it works...like yesterday and the last few times. all I want to do is go pew pew but im stuck staring at a door that leads outside :/

so I completely reinstalled eve, or should I say I tried, both with online installer and with offline installer. each time I get the problem above ^^ in the pastebin. seriously am tired of all the problems I seem to be having.

im glad there are devs jumping all over the chance to help. ive started over again, redownloaded offline installer ande both payloads and still the launcher wont run it crashes......so hello devs here I am.....

Hi there!

This error is really annoying and I am sorry to hear that it is affecting you to such a degree. We've seen very few instances of this specific problem and have not yet found an actual reason for it to happen, nor how to reproduce it. CCP Atropos added some extra logging around the involved operations to see if we can get a better understanding of what is happening, but so far w are out of luck.

Since you seem to have a case of this error with a 100% reproduction rate, maybe you can give some more information about your network and computer set up:
Did you try running the EVE launcher using Administrator privileges?
Are you connecting to the internet through a proxy or VPN?
What kind of anti-virus / firewall software are you using?
Could you also post the full log file and not just the exception?

Hi, I am also getting this error. I posted a ticket, but so far I have seen no response.
I am a Virgin Media customer with 60Mb connection, but I also tried the install at work with the same results.
I use ZoneAlarm Internet Security Extream, but I tried the install with Firewall and Antivirus snoozed for both full installer and offline versions.
I uninstalled my Eve and cleared everything out and tried from scratch. Still the same results.

According to other people then snoozing zone alarm did not resolve the issue, they had to properly disable it.
