In the battle between Good Posting and the GD militia.... Good posting never comes out on top. FYI.

You forgot to mention Star Citizen in this post. just saying because you had a streak going.

Actually the memo says I should have mentioned X-rebrith and how that should be EVE now but the $12 million dollars went to Dust 514 marketing.

Thank you for making a game I am satisfied enough with to keep playing.

That reminds me, need to thank Coke, Apple, KFC, Converse and Asda, because they too also make products I buy and am satisfied with.

+1 OP

I love the game so much that even when I'm not playing, I'll often find myself thinking about EVE - usually when I'm at work!Lol. I really enjoyed the live stream last night and thought everyone, both in front and behind the camera, did a great job.

The game would be ok

The server however feels more and more like some kind of private shard where the admin drops free stuff for his friends. Some kind of freeshard you have to pay for.

It's a singlefreesharded pay MMO.

Like so many other game, there are some truly awesome, epic and inspired moments that you never forget. Blink

And now and then, you just have to shake your head at the asplosion when things like live events get botched to the point of shame. Roll

And so it goes.

Why do you mention incursions in hi sec and not sites like The Maze when you get juicy Pith-X modules, Rattle BPCs... etc
Can you run incursions in hi sec non stop 24/7? No. Can you run The Maze in null sec anytime you want? No.

Pith X-type modules are not that juicy really and the rattlesnake is the cheapest of the pirate BS's. You can make your average Maze payout running VGs for a few hours and spending that same amount of time scanning will not get you a "The Maze" anywhere close to once a night. Not to mention soloing the maze is a bit more difficult and risky.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

And what exactly does CCP spending it's money on a business project have to do with you again?

Your avatar looks like a Ticked Off Tonto.

Haha, i think this time you are right, see?

Sorry if i posted that crap to you before but i almost got killed running a 5/10 while reading this thread and was a bit annoyed. Lost the site but saved the Gila, well that's something.

No hard feeligs.

And btw Mr. Trollbridge or whatever, i don't fight battles anymore. Not ingame, not out of the game. Are you a Blood Raider? Then you are safe.

Technically, if I was a dedicated customer (which I am not) I am technically investing in their product line by giving them money. If they take the money I give them and turn around and use it to make failures while not improving my gameplay value, I would think then I might be wasting my money by giving it to them.

I mean don't you want a company that you regulary give money to improve your experience as customer. Its only natural. If they fail to do that then why continue to give them money?

Customer != investor.

Not at all.

Two completely different things, and it invalidates your post. You have no say on what any company does with it's money - if you buy Coca-Cola products, and the decide to invest the money you paid to them into mercenary assassinations of people attempting to unionize, that is neither your problem nor your responsibility.

If you find out, you're more than welcome to stop purchasing their products, but no company is beholden to it's customers in the same way as it's investors.

CCP makes a product, if you like that product, buy it. If you don't, don't buy it. If you find their business ethics unpalatable, don't buy from them. But you are not an investor, and they are not beholden to your personal opinions of where they spend their, and their investors' money.

Of course it buying a product doesn't mean you are a true blue investor on the stock market.

But when you have a relationship beyond just a customer and vendor level, then you should except more out of the company for your money.

If the company doesn't treat their customers as investors then the customers have no reason to treat the company with any respect or grattitude.

Customers may not hold voting stock, but if you don't treat them as well as your investors if not better then you won't keep your customers unless they have to buy from you.

and what makes you think you have a relationship beyond just a customer and vendor level? You pay for eve, you get eve, what about this entitles you to decide anything about what they do?
