We just ran into End-Of-Line corporation and had a fight.

Please report my CEO for troll, got me stuck on the other side of wormhole in lowsec 1hour before this happend, couldn't get back into wormhole for this honor fight.

Noted. CEO of EOL leaves targets on the lowsec.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

what happened was our skirmish crew bumped into their skirmish crew.

We lost the initial skirmish, they got our absolution (i told the guy its too slow!!). I set my guys into formation on the contested hole, aligned and dragging out at a certain speed - their gang jumped in, outnumbered us 2 to one, we tried to fight but could not break their logi, they caught up to the abso and ate it, so we warped off. i paid half the abso loss, my fault for putting it so close to hole in first place, i knew it was slow as hell...

then we maneuvered around for a bit, finally agreed on a set piece fight.

we brought 14ppl, they had i think 12 or so. 2 guardians per team, rest was t3. Each team had an ace in the hole - we brought 1 ecm tengu, they brought one neut gheddon.

So we chose celestial, warped to it from random vectors, alliance tournament style, and their and our dps ended up on top of each other, and logi and theirs was a bit off the center point.

After initial success jamming their gheddon for 15secs, our ecm tengu got jammed by a horde of ecm drones itself, and thereafter sat useless on the field. Their dps started working on our dps, they picked a proteus (unlucky, that pilot lost 3 proteuses in last 2 weeks, he ALWAYS gets primaried), meanwhile I decided to go for their guardians. Luckly half our proteuses had rails, and we were able to apply dps to their logi from the get-go. They had lokis, but not enough to web down our entire fleet, so half our dps broke out of the blob, burned to their guardians, and destroyed them. Then I asked our guys to spread points around, but we only snagged 2 t3s and a gheddon before they decided to get out.

Net result - we won the overall fight by 600mil. hardly anything really, that abso and proteus we lost was expensive. I consider it more of a draw.

Lessons learned - bring more points, leave ecm tengu at home. :)

Those ecmgu's can be a bit of a bugger. I hope we roll into you guys again soon. I enjoyed our last fight with TDSIN . And I have much respect for eol as well. We had a joint op against TLC yesterday. (Blap dreads win 60% of the time all the time) I look forward to more joint ops with them and some fights against them. All the while badgering them to join alliance and come out to Nova

Yeah, the TLC fight was **** from the get go. They implicitly demanded we fight on their terms and I knew they'd probably drop blap dreads on us and **** whatever we had if we committed. I had to bail due to RL but the result played itself out. Single clap to TLC. I'll be happy to fight TDSIN again though.
