You have no data to back that up. The fact that you dislike something does not mean everyone does. Please just state what you think and don't presume to know what 'the majority' thinks.

It was not as much of a presumption as it may seem since this is like the 10th one of these threads and the trend in them is overwhemingly on the dislike side of things.

Rest assured that this is one of the devs babies and eventhough most folks in the threads have expressed utter hate for this change, they pushed it through anyway so it is here to stay.

Happy now?PRoll

You don't get the best results with a friend. You get worse results. Because they made the cans scannable and named them in order of quality. So you have competition for the parts cans, rather than grabbing them all alone. Is there something not understood about this?

Then you are doing it wrong. Two people can grab all valuables with some coordination. And then you split the loot afterwards. I am actually face palming because you needed this explained to you Lol

Then you get half of everything, rather than 80-90% of everything. What?

If they are supposed to be more profitable for pairing up why is literally no one dual boxing datas and relics?

You're reply doesn't even make sense re: what I was saying.

So you want someone to help you but not share the profit equally. You must be a very popular person.

Whatttttttt

Solo = 80% loot grabbed, 20% flies into space. Divide by 1 = 80% of loot per person.
Pairs = 100% of the loot grabbed, 0% flies off into space. Divide equally by 2 = 50% of loot per person.

80% is a bigger number than 50%.

Shocked

80% is just a guess for relics, for data it should be faaar higher, I've never lost a decryptor or rarely a BPC to space, 90% for data or higher is normal.

The current system discourages grouping, economically. A better system would be for ships to pool their virus HPs and DPS and the hacking game designed so that > 2 times as many containers are successfully hacked by a pair of ships than by a single ship. That would be a real incentive for grouping. The loot spew is fail. Naming the containers is just nonsensical, why would anyone grab scrap metal?? What is the purpose of the scraps container? It may as well not even exist.

I get about 90% of the loot solo. I am fine with that. If you are not, then I think you just want too much. You just want to move in, do as little as possible and get everything. Sure, you can want that. I want my ISK converted one to one to Euros. Not happening either.

I rather like it. The entire minigame + loot spew mechanic essentially functions as a time sink + mechanism to distract the player from staring at local and spamming dscan, and it does that fairly well.

Some people love the spew and for others it's an acquired taste. If you keep practicing, you'll get better at it and enjoy it more.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
