Think that was irony.
Had once a "1vs1" vs Nexxala. These "1vs1" nowadays is mostly "me my 2 off grid boosters" and you. It was maybe 1 year ago that Nexxala could run away in a "1vs1". I was in a Condor, he was in Coercer and was running very very "weird" speeds for a Coercer, if you know what I mean. Finally he could loop his *** out of my point and additionally my missiles did not alot damage, if you know what I mean^^.
Summary: 1vs1 is completely dead. All you will get is:
-me, the bait and my 20buddies next door
-me and my 2 ogb alts vs you alone
-me and my neutral logi alt vs you
-me and my neutral cloaked griffin alt next to me vs you
-me and my falcon alt next to me vs you
-me and my cloaked rapier alt next to me vs you
etc....

Really I got ganked this month so often that I am almost healed from 1vs1 for the next 6months.
Little Advice: NEVER really NEVER take an af vs af fight. It will take some time so that you WILL get blobbed. Trust me.
I knew I should not take this Hawk vs Hawk fight but.... well le voila interceptor and arty ruppies :P. Of course Inty also instalocked my pod^^
Next Tip: Kiting is better for solo. So you can run away if blob comes. In scramwebfights you won´t be mostly able to do that.
Most of these "nice people" argueing about kiting are ostly F1warriors and only angry because they have issues to blob kiters.

Buy some glasses. Prolly 30% of my kills this month are solokills. Okay without the podkills maybe 20% up to 25%.
Tried out smartbombing this month but it is too boring,
As I said I am almost giving up solo and the game at all because it really forces you to fleetsheeping. Actually I am simply kiting and tackling and calling for dps. No more solo^^. Got ganked toooooo many times this month.
Best moments are when you are solo and people try to gank you but you win a 4vs1. But mostly it end with 10 ahacs and other stuff on one litte af^^
Solo is dead. Completely. Especially because you almost never know if the other guy is really solo or if he has hidden superpowers from off grid boosters.
Just look at the top killers in Battleclinic. Not even one of em flies without ogb. Some of the fits they use look laughable at first sight but when you remember "okay implants plus ogb" then you will understand that even this ****** aar-2000ehp-rocket-brawler condor is unkillable for the comet.
Just last month I lost a stabber fitted with 180mm acs, rapid light missile launchers and warriors plus scram and web to a little tech1 fitted brawler condor. I think best I could do was maybe getting him to 80% armor^^.
Eve is not a solo game. It is a game if you have more alts than the other guy or not.
Horrible.

I was just having a joke about a fight the other day and wasnt complaining in my post.

I use boosts myself a fair bit so I have no complaints about others using them.
It is a legit game mechanic that is available to everyone if they choose to do it.

As it is an MMO - I expect more to arrive.
+ I take it as a compliment that people bring more in to fight me.

Heh well atleast that did some good :P


I will sometime soon when i get tired of the blob , i still roam around solo here and there , but for now its going good :)

I only do 1v1s when someone drops in on a plex I'm running solo. If it's a single person, I fight, and typically lose. Smile If more than one person drops in I just bail. I get all my 1v1s when they happen in Minnie plexes, oddly enough. And I only fight opposing FW guys; neutrals, in my experience, don't solo, EVER. If one drops in on you, assume the gang is close by, and just bail.

I'm in FW to fight other FW people. If you're a neutral in the warzone, I just assume you're there to be a d!ck, and refuse to play. Twisted

This. Nexx doesn't use boosts. Just high grade snake sets. chatgris uses both.

also, could be 10mn coercer so takes less dmg from rockets


i find plenty of 1v1s in frigates and destroyers.

Cruisers though... no matter what you're in, they'll bring 2+ Cruisers and frig/dessie support to come fight you.
