Well that's already it's name- I didn't choose that. I just created the design based on that and the other ships.

Whoa there, a double bonus from each of the races (Gallente and Amarr) is extreme power creep, all the other Pirate Battleships only get a single bonus from their respective race.

Hmm.. That's a good point- I'll change that to make it go along with the others. I'm trying to make it reasonable,
stats-wise.

I like the new version, seems to fit nicely.

Edit: maybe adding a role bonus to laser turrets, as CCP seems to favor them for the SOE ships, although leaving it open for any turret the player wants to use would be interesting.

Hmm.. Yeah, seeing as I reduced the bonuses, that could work- and they are Amarr/Gallente, so lasers should be a part. I was actually thinking of that, adding the 3rd role bonus like the other two have.

Now the stats look like a beefed up version of the SOE Cruiser.
I personally have fate in the creative talent of CCP and expect that the SOE BS will have some kind of new twist in it.
Maybe some kind of bridging or jumping ability. Or something totally new.

Meanwhile I'll be happy to play with the Cruiser and Frig.

Ever noticed how the Rattlesnake is a beefed up Gila? Same drone bandwidth and damage bonus, just different hull stats.

Amarr Battleship Skill Bonus per level:
4% bonus to armor resistances

Gallente Battleship Skill Bonus per level:
10% bonus to drone damage and hitpoints.

I am changing these stats as time goes on, in order to balance them with current ship stats.

Tell me what you think- I'd love for CCP to see this and use my drawing as its design Lol

My two cents:

1) There should be no covert ops cloak bs - leave that for black ops maybe.

2) Getting rid of covops cloak would allow it to make a proper BS: lots of firepower and armour.

3) Bonus for lasers and drone dps should be ok.

Justification: insisting on covops cloak will reduce the firepower, fitting and endurance of this ship. CCP will not allow it to be equal to other pirate BS AND have covops cloak. So be careful what you wish for.

Well the SOE ships all use drones AND lasers- I couldn't have it not have any bonuses for it's second weapons system. Also, it's a tracking bonus- it'll just let the ship hit smaller targets if it needs to.

I see your point, and this is definitely not some "final draft". I'm just brainstorming and trying to get CCP to see my drawing. If they used those stats, I'd be surprised but very happy.

Does anyone have any more feedback? I'd like to get at least one DEV's response to this, even if it's in the contrary; I want to know what CCP thinks, more than anything.

The role bonus should definitely be laser centered, otherwise it's going to obsolete the rattlesnake in quite a few cases.

That sounds reasonable, but I think optimal will be enough, since it keeps in line with the stratios progression wise.

This is so overpowered on so many levels it reeks of alcohol. And taking a look at the picture it sure also looks like alcohol.
Dude try to apply the stats you put in that ship in different situations (in your mind). This ship is way too overpowered. It pwn pirate BSs, Navy BSs, BLOPS, Bastioned marauders and Gov. Issue BSs. It would cost 5bill on market just because of demand.
