I can with relative ease. I have on several occasions viewed towers online in a WH. A week later when we rolled in again, they were offline and all inner mods removed. Upon killboard check, I see no pos modules lost over the past week.

When we roll in again, pos is back up and mods are back online. When checking their sites, they are in the process of being farmed. IE only the last spawn of the wave is up.

It is not uncommon for groups to leave a dead stick out as a sort of temp base for whenever they dont have a current use for it. With caps logged at safes, it doesnt matter.

As for true nomad groups, I have seen a few. Some even multi alliance groups. 2-3 caps that get in, get their business done and get out. Its all very secretive. If you want real proof of it, I suggest you hop in a buzzard and go scanning. You may get lucky.
