Love the idea of the Depot but

What ship would be needed to cart it around?

Can it be carried around in Industrial fully loaded or would a number of trips be needed?

Seems like a waste of time for my needs then. 3000m3 is less than a Venture's hold so pretty much worthless.

What a drag because this could have been so awesome.

The tractor unit can hold 27k. Use that instead of a depot for mining. (It'll also consolidate your jetcans for you).

Capacity is 3000-4000m3 according to the Dev Blogs which either way is still less than the ore hold of a Venture.

For mining purposes (which I mostly do because I'm an industrialist) the Depot is a waste of time for me. However, if I was doing sec missions or PvP then it would be a good tool.

Like I said, it's worthless to me but I still love the idea. Now if CCP were to build a mobile refinery that would be AWESOME. :-)

50m3 to refit t3 subs in space is pretty big news. Especially for people that use ships with big cargoes. Like marauders. And the Ishtar. And the Sacriledge (sort of lol). And the Stratios.

Can a tackled carrier refit to warp core stabilizers and jump out with this?
Big deal for explorers as well. same for day-tripping in wormholes.

can i just point out that you're mining in a venture. people mine in a venture for around 1 week unless they're huffing gas.

the relevance to anything when you're "flying a venture" is so irrelevant i almost didn't bother posting.

also you're wrong about everything you're crying about; read the devblog.

the refit on the fly capabilty is what this thing is all about. of course your ship may have limited cargo space and therefore you can fit expanders for travel and use the yurt to store the additional modules and any loot you've picked up.
