Stratios, good fits for exploring, missioning and PvP?

Just wondering what fits people have come up with for the Stratios? Exploring, PvE and PvP? Thanks

I have a lot of excellent fits for sentry drones but don't feel like sharing them. The secret is to use expensive modules and to make due with a 3 slot tank in either shield or armor.

I suppose i should also check out fits for heavy drones setups, which save you having to use omnilinks or drone scope ships or DLAs. Which probably leaves you room to fit lasers.

For PVP, i have had alot of success with the Stratios on Sisi so far.

Here is the setup i'm gonna use on it when i get it on TQ.

[Stratios, Suprise Buttsex]

High-slot:

4x 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Fusion M
1x Covert Ops Cloaking Device II

Med-slot:

1x Corelum C-Type 10MN Microwarpdrive
1x Dark Blood Warp Disruptor
2x Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
1x Dark Blood Small Capacitor Booster, Navy Cap Booster 400

Low-slot:

1x Reactive Armor Hardener
1x Corpum C-Type Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
1x 1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates II
2x Drone Damage Amplifier II

Rigs:

2x Medium Trimark Armor Pump II
1x Medium Anti-Explosive Pump II

Drones:

10x Hammerhead II
6x Ogre II (can only use 4 at the same time)
6x Garde II (can only use 4 at the same time)

This setup have 67.2k EHP with a Low-grade Slave set. It does 147 gun DPS (with a +5% to ROF implant), 561 drone DPS with 4x Ogre II deployed, witch will be 708 DPS in total. By using Garde II's, you will top out at 678 DPS. Yes, i use Autocannons to be able to hit smaller ships much better.

When it comes to speed, it does 1298 m/s. With the MWD overloaded it does 1846 m/s. And as we don't know the prices on the Stratios yet, this setup will cost you 595 mill isk according to PYFA. So it might be a bit expensive in total, but it depends on what the ship it self will cost.

It also have used 1134 out of 1150 Powergrid and 479 out of 500 CPU.

So it is a myrm that can warp cloaked? maybe a little better agility?
Sounds like a fun ship but paying close to 1 bil for that?

"little better agility???" Its extremely agile. Its agility is between that of a cynabal and a vigilant, which are both absurdly agile ships.

w/ my skills, with no armor plates, stratios has a 4 second align time. nonplated myrmidon has a 8.4s align time.

Both the frigate and cruiser will be worth every isk provided you have a competent gang to run with.

Solo should be viable but that will take some fancy faction fits.

As for me I'll be all over the astero. Explorers beware after rubicon hits. Pirate

I don't know so much about a 'gang' in the classical use of the term, but these are going to make blops ganking and power projection very popular. Figure the new super frigate warp speeds and a covert cyno to bridge in wings worth+ of stratios (stratiosii? Stratioses?) Now you have ahac support for the siege fleet :)

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.

It's got a pretty massive Sansha tank (I think around 700dps can't remember) and might even be overtanked since the Sansha 6/10 doesn't have a web tower so you can speed tank in peace, I'll try it out and tweak the tank/dps ratio as needed. I think it was cap-stable without the guns turned on but I can't remember, I'm on my laptop without Pyfa so I can't check right now. I was going to use it fully solo with a probe launcher in the cargohold to be switched for one gun when I need to scan and vice versa. It has alot of dronebay so it can fit all kinds of utility drones which is really nice, if you ever get caught by someone you can sick your ECM drones on them and have a chance to escape, also a repair bot just to repair damaged drones in between fights.

Haven't had time to think about fits as yet, damn RL getting in the way. I am wetting myself in anticipation of this ship and it's potential. Looking forward to some more exploration fits!

I doubt the Stratios will cost a billion ISK once prices settle. Given the markup from SOE LP stores that was mentioned in the dev blogs, it might be the most expensive faction cruiser, possibly on par with a cheap navy/fleet battleship, but not like a pirate battleship (unless you count the Rattlesnake).

Oh yes i updated EFT and played with it, very nice agility :)

But the first guy posting a fit say he can only use 4 heavys, EFT say my bandwidth is 125.
So who is right, 4 or 5 heavys?

Depends on if they keep the 500 CPU. As it stands now its pretty OP IMHO. But nice, and worth it.
